27-Inch 4K Mini LED Prototype | Optical Bonding Review

ClaraTech is developing a 27-inch 4K Mini LED PCAP touch display prototype for casino, slot machine, and gaming cabinet projects. Current evaluation covers optical bonding, anti-glare cover glass, PCAP touch integration, mechanical housing, thermal layout, and cabinet fit.

This is an engineering prototype rather than a standard ready-stock product. Final optical, touch, mechanical, brightness, local dimming, thermal, and operating performance will be confirmed after prototype and project-specific testing.

Current Prototype Target Configuration

• 27-inch display format

• 3840 × 2160 UHD 4K resolution

• Mini LED backlight structure

• Target 576-zone local dimming configuration

• Target peak brightness of up to 1000 nits

• Optional PCAP touch integration

• Project-based mechanical housing and cabinet integration

These values are prototype development targets rather than final measured specifications. Final brightness, local dimming performance, thermal performance, touch configuration, mechanical dimensions, and product availability remain subject to completed prototype testing and project confirmation.

Why Optical Bonding Is Being Evaluated

In a conventional touch-display structure, an air gap may remain between the display module, touch sensor, and cover glass.

For this Mini LED prototype, ClaraTech is evaluating optical bonding between the touch structure and display module. The purpose is to review whether the bonded structure can support:

• Reduced internal reflection

• Improved front-screen clarity

• More stable touch integration

• A cleaner front-glass appearance

• Better mechanical alignment inside the cabinet

These benefits remain subject to the final glass structure, bonding process, touch configuration, thermal conditions, and completed prototype evaluation.

PCAP Touch and Cover-Glass Review

The touch configuration must be reviewed together with the complete display structure.

Project evaluation may include:

• PCAP touch requirements

• Cover-glass thickness

• Anti-glare surface treatment

• Touch controller configuration

• Front-frame and mounting tolerance

• Grounding and cable layout

• Cabinet operating environment

The final touch and glass configuration will be confirmed according to the customer’s cabinet design and sample requirements.

Mechanical Integration for Casino Cabinets

The Mini LED display module, touch structure, metal housing, and mounting components must be evaluated as one integrated assembly.

For an initial cabinet review, customers can provide:

• Cabinet opening width and height

• Available rear installation depth

• Mounting-point positions

• Display orientation

• Required video and touch interfaces

• Ventilation and cable-routing requirements

• Sample quantity and expected production quantity

STEP, DWG, PDF drawings, sketches, or clear cabinet photos can be used for an initial OEM integration review.

Current Development Status

The 27-inch version is the current prototype development direction. Additional sizes and curved formats can be reviewed according to project requirements, but feasibility, development cost, sample schedule, and final configuration must be confirmed separately.

This development is intended for qualified OEM casino cabinet projects that require customized display, touch, optical, and mechanical integration.
