Before a curved casino monitor is installed in a gaming cabinet, its display performance, PCAP touch response, signal interfaces, physical condition and packaging protection should be checked carefully.
This project involved an anonymous small-batch order of 32-inch C-Curve casino monitors prepared for customer-side gaming cabinet integration and system testing.
The customer’s name, exact order quantity and delivery destination are not disclosed for project confidentiality.
Confirmed Project Configuration
The confirmed monitor configuration included:
32-inch C-Curve display;
1500R curvature;
4K UHD 3840 × 2160 resolution;
brightness rated at no less than 350 cd/m²;
10-point PCAP touch;
HDMI input;
DisplayPort (DP) input;
VGA input;
curved structure designed for casino gaming cabinet integration.
This order did not include a programmable RGB LED halo or illuminated bezel.
Why Pre-Shipment Inspection Matters
A casino monitor is not simply a standalone display. It must operate as part of a complete gaming cabinet that may include a graphics controller, touch system, metal enclosure, power supply, cable system and gaming platform.
A monitor that powers on successfully may still require further inspection before cabinet installation.
Important pre-shipment checks include:
whether the image is displayed correctly across the active area;
whether 4K UHD 3840 × 2160 output is recognized;
whether the PCAP touch function responds consistently;
whether HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA inputs operate correctly;
whether connectors and cables are positioned properly;
whether the curved panel and housing are free from visible damage;
whether the monitor is protected adequately for international transportation.
These checks help reduce avoidable problems during customer-side sample and cabinet validation.
1. Power-On and 4K Image Review
Each 32-inch C-Curve monitor was powered on and operated before packing.
The display inspection focused on:
stable image output;
correct 4K UHD 3840 × 2160 resolution;
visible image uniformity;
abnormal lines or flickering;
signal interruption;
active display-area condition;
display-surface condition;
operation during the pre-shipment running test.
The monitors are rated at a brightness level of at least 350 cd/m².
The purpose of this inspection was to confirm the condition of the displays before international transportation and customer-side cabinet testing.

2. Ten-Point PCAP Touch Inspection
The 10-point PCAP touch function was checked across the usable touch area.
The inspection included:
general touch response;
multi-touch recognition;
response near the edges and corners;
continuity of touch input;
connection between the touch controller and the test platform.
No specific third-party touch protocol compatibility is claimed for this project.
Final touch compatibility must still be validated with the customer’s own controller, operating system, gaming software and cabinet environment.
This is one reason customer-side testing is necessary before volume production.

3. HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA Input Checks
The available video inputs for this project included:
HDMI;
DisplayPort (DP);
VGA.
The signal-input area and connected cables were checked before packing.
The inspection reviewed:
signal recognition;
stable image transmission;
connector condition;
cable connection;
interface positioning;
accessibility within the rear structure.
For a gaming cabinet project, the location and direction of the connectors can be as important as the interface type itself.
Limited internal cabinet space may affect cable bending, installation access, ventilation and maintenance.

4. Rear Structure and Mounting-Area Inspection
The rear section of each monitor was reviewed before protective packing.
The inspection covered:
rear housing condition;
signal-interface area;
touch connection area;
power connection;
mounting-related structure;
cable position;
visible screws and assembly points;
external signs of handling or assembly damage.
Where cabinet drawings are available, ClaraTech can review the proposed installation space and mounting requirements before the display configuration is finalized.
This is a preliminary feasibility review and does not replace the customer’s final mechanical and engineering validation.
5. Curved Panel and Appearance Inspection
The 1500R curved panel, external frame and rear housing were checked for visible defects before packing.
The appearance inspection included:
front display surface;
curved panel profile;
external frame;
panel edges;
corners;
rear housing;
visible scratches or handling marks.
The monitors were cleaned and protected after inspection to reduce the risk of dust, scratches and handling damage during packing.

6. Protective Packing for a Small-Batch Shipment
Curved displays require suitable packaging because excessive pressure on the panel, frame or curved edges may cause damage during transportation.
For this anonymous small-batch order, the monitors were packed individually with protective materials.
The packing process included:
protection around the display surface;
protection around the curved edges;
cushioning around the monitor body;
individual product packing;
reinforced external protection;
wooden-crate protection for international transportation.
The packaging was intended to limit product movement and reduce exposure to impact during handling and transit.
Customer-Side Validation Is Still Required
Pre-shipment inspection confirms the product condition before dispatch. It does not replace customer-side cabinet, controller and system validation.
After receiving the monitors, the customer should test them with the actual:
gaming cabinet;
graphics controller;
operating system;
gaming software;
touch application;
power environment;
HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA signal source;
cable arrangement;
mounting structure;
ventilation conditions.
The customer should confirm mechanical fit, image output, touch operation, interface compatibility, thermal conditions and continuous-operation performance before proceeding to a larger production order.
Cabinet Drawing and Installation-Space Review
For a new casino gaming cabinet project, ClaraTech can conduct a preliminary review based on customer-provided drawings and technical information.
Useful project information includes:
cabinet opening dimensions;
available internal installation space;
required display size;
required curvature;
mounting method;
cable direction;
required video inputs;
touch requirements;
brightness requirements;
sample or small-batch quantity;
expected production quantity.
This review can help identify potential mechanical, cable-position or interface issues before a sample configuration is finalized.
